Invitation

Dear colleagues and friends,

on behalf of my team and on behalf of the Charité – Universitaetsmedizin Berlin it is a great honor and privilege to welcome you to the Berlin International Shoulder Course 2016.
This year the course will focus mainly on arthroscopic reconstructive procedures and will combine theoretical and practical elements providing plenty of space for exciting dialogues and discussions to get a detailed overview of the current controversies in shoulder surgery.
Video demonstrations, live surgeries and mini-battles with international and national experts will complement the scientifi c lectures. Practical skills can be improved and enhanced in ultrasound and cadaver workshops.
The course will take place in one of the most attractive locations in the heart of Berlin, between Kurfuerstendamm and Potsdamer Platz. The InterContinental refl ects the dynamics of the German capital and unites tradition and modernity. Its outstanding meeting facilities guarantee professionalism in a familial atmosphere.
With the current number of registrations the Berlin International Shoulder Course has become the largest meeting dedicated to shoulder surgery in Germany. Our deep thanks goes to our international scientifi c committee and to the speakers from all over the globe, who will guarantee the success and the high scientifi c standard of this anniversary meeting.

Welcome to Berlin and Happy Birthday Berlin Shoulder Course!
